When I was trying to figure out what school to go to he told me I wasn't good enough to be a Razorback or would never work in college sports. Plus, he threw Unruh under the bus on that Rx deal in 90's. That is why England never went back to football.

Yeah I am close to people who were close to the program in the late 80s, early 1990s and none of them have anything good to say about that guy.

Shannon Wright, etc, etc....

We can stand to be in same room together now, but when I first got my job at SMS he or I would walk out room if in same room. But, if it wasnt for him, I would have never went to SMS or looked at other places. So in a way he did me a favor.

Allegedly the pain killers and opiates were handed out like candy back in those days. A few players from back then have told me they blame that environment for Wright's addictions and subsequent suicide.

They were given if you asked, and sometimes you didnt ask and he gave them out. I never figured out how after he was decertified from NATA he wasnt fired. He committed a criminal act, but kept his job. Coach Branch was like why are they just now finding out? it was going on when I played in 60's.

There were fireworks for the pregame, that explains the smoke.

I had a ticket to this game but sold it. Frick.

Yet another example of why I'm glad we've had a thorough cleansing of our AD in the past 5 years.

If we knew all the shite JFB knew, we'd probably all be shocked to hell.

Then again, maybe not.

Well you do know J Frank used to go into concessions mgr office after games and grab handfulls of cash and stick into pockets. Eddie used to seel the extra Nikes to Cummings, it was wild the stuff they did. Bud, old EQ MGR who I worked for at SMS and was at UA with Holtz, once told me that Wilson bought Holtz new furniture and Dean got so mad that he threatened to leave, so J Frank fearing what might come out refurnished Dean's house. Take that with grain of salt, because Bud and Dean were always fighting.

I've been around JFB enough to view him realistically. He acts like a man who has always felt untouchable and has no problem stepping on "little people". I'd say Lindsey strikes me the same way. Arrogant beyond repair.

Mr Lindsey to me is a great man. I guess since I went to school with Lyndy and John David since 1st grade. The Lindsey Branch thing is so strange though when you really step back and look at it. John and Lyndy dont get along at all.

Well, I'll have to disagree there. I think Lyndy is a good dude, but no fan of John David at all, and that has nothing to do with real estate. Just personality.
