It does, I recently moved and it took me what seemed like 2 months to find a place, then when i did it was upstairs.

There's little chance of that where I live, and when you have a 16 month old you don't want to be upstairs.

True. We have no kids and we're moving to Atlanta though. We can afford a decent part of the city, but there are still break ins, even in the gated complexes.

I carry my wallet in my back pocket, I had this lady come up to me (this was in Atlanta) and tell me "son, I don't know where you're from, but you better place your wallet somewhere other than your back pocket if you want to see it again".
I took my wallet out of my back pocket and put it in my coat pocket. I don't know if she was F'n with me or not, but I wasn't taking any chances.
