Can't be said any better. I love LSU and hate to have to admit that we will have at least a 3 loss season this year, 5 if we fall apart, but facts are facts.

better hope LSU loses against bama lil man, cuz if they win, you will never hear the end of it. Geaux Tigers!

I honestly don't think I am going to have to worry about that. Even if LSU does win Saban is still the better coach in my opinion.....

If we only have 1 L by the time this game rolls around will you still be saying the same thing?

If you are, I hope your arse is on campus that Saturday wearing purple and gold while you are making these claims. And I hope you get your arse kicked by a bunch of real LSU fans.

You know how you can tell a better coach?

If Nick Saban and Les Miles are both fired tomorrow for whatever reason (non-scandoulous), who would get the most lucrative job offers?

I guarantee it would be Saban.

Saban=/= sellout. He took a better job with LSU than he had at Mich st. He worked his way up to one of his goals of coaching an NFL team. He didn't really care for the business aspect of coaching a pro team and realized he liked college better. The best available job was Alabama. Nothing personal. Get the sand out of your vaginas tiger fans. Just a man choosing the best job available.

FWIW, I love LSU. I'll watch every game they play in and attend as many games as I can. I can admit when the odds are stacked heavily against us beating a certain team. That doesn't make me a fan of said team. It makes me..GASP!....realistic. Geaux tigers! Here's to hoping for a 9 win season!

I'll pose this question to all you fools who are slamming me for my "positive" opinions of Saban:

If Saban was not hired and Les Miles was....would Les Miles have done then same thing Saban did???

My answer...NOT A CHANCE.....Nick Saban is the "ONLY" reason why LSU is where it is today. He stock piled LSU while he was there and I don't think there is was any way for LES Miles to "F" it up. Sure, he has recruited well....but Les is still no Saban.

So what's your point coming on this board and sucking saban's dick when you knew it would start shite. if you love saban so much, why don't you go on a bama board and suck his dick, they'd love it over there. hell you would have to stand in line. dude, go wipe your frickin mouth, you have some of saban dripping out. frick off.

I hope I get my arse kicked by you, because you are obviously a way bigger fan than me. But I am willing to bet that if we lose tonight, and next week, the chances of you being at the game will be slim.

Question: oooLSUTigerOOOO.....where do you rank LSU in the SEC as of today...before the S.C. game.

I don't even remember the last LSU home game I've missed. It has been at least 5 years. I was at LSU games during the early 90s when we were hardly winning a damn game. That's why it pisses me off that you are sucking Bama's dick.

Rankings in college football do not mean shite at this point. Our chances of winning the SEC West right now are 50-50%. If we lose tonight those chances drop, but as of right now we control our own destiny which is less then you can say for a whole bunch of teams in the SEC.

I was on board with you until you said this shite. How do you know Miles couldn't do what Saban did when he was here? You can't say that and be taken seriously. Miles has done an outstanding job with LSU...facts are facts. You can believe what you want about Miles and Saban, but I'll take Miles right now. There's something to be said for being loyal and not being an a-hole.

Dude, you know what, I respect that. I am not going to slam you for wanting Miles over Saban. No big deal. But there is something about an arse hole coach that makes him a really good coach. Not many nice, buddy buddy coaches win. I don't think he is an a-hole for going to Alabama. He lied while he was employed by the Miami Dolphins. He did what he had to do just in case the Alabama job feel through. I am sure that everyone on this board would lie if they were working somewhere and had a job offer/interview with someone else. Your boss could call you in the office and say are you leaving, etc. etc. and you say no....but in the end you leave b/c it is something you want more.

I'm with you man...I've missed 4 home games since 1970...I'm just wondering how many Nick's sucker has been to. In his posts he has nothing good to say about Miles OR LSU. Like a gossipping teenager.....gets on to start shite.
What a moron. You can point out all of Saban's failures, yet to some people, they're blind to it.
It's called a mancrush.

I don't Saban would have done as good from 2005-2007 as Miles did.

I was already convinced he was the best coach in the SEC but after watching Alabama thus far this season, he is by far the best coach in the SEC, and for that matter the nation.

Ignore the rantards.

Only a total idiot fails to acknowledge that Saban is at least a top 5 coach in the country after what he has done at Bama this season. It was only a matter of time for him to turn it around, much like at LSU.

A lot of people don't realize how much talent Alabama has:

Average Star Ratings per recruiting class per rivals.com:

Alabama
2009 (Saban) - 3.56 (#9 in nation -- so far)
2008 (Saban) - 3.72 (#6 in nation)
2007 (Shula*) - 3.28 (#15 in nation)
2006 (Shula) - 3.61 (#8 in nation)
2005 (Shula) - 3.03 (#23 in nation)
2004 (Shula) - 2.89 (#18 in nation)

*Saban became Bama coach in Jan 2007, the 2007 class had their NSD in Feb 2007 and had primarily been recruited by Shula for the previous 12 months.

So...Saban is winning with Shulas players?

Come on, we know those types of arguments are worthless.

Saban is winning with Alabama's players. It doesn't matter who recruited them. They are good players, and any good coach can take good players and win.
