I'll always consider him an Oklahoma guy, but I also have fond memories of great night games in Lubbock (effing tortillas lol) of him being a pirate.
I know in the Pacific Northwest they consider him a Cougar, and I know those of you down South have a warm spot in your hearts for him as well.
He's loved by everyone
My favorite story is when he dropped the fake playbook on the field at OU Texas and those dumbasses actually took it LOL

It would be amazing, but it didn't happen. Leach was beloved by State fans. A half dozen fans on message boards/social media don't equal the fan base.
Why folks want to rewrite history like this, I have no idea.
