And to be fair, bama is far from the only offender with this, but you don't see these other fans delusionaly claiming to be the Yankees of college football either.
You have a great program that is unquestionably in the too 2 or 3 in cfb history. Just leave it at that. The Yankees have more than double the number of WS as the next closest team out there and guess what they didn't invent any of them.

Nobody pre-poll era should claim an NC.
And nobody is saying you shouldn't claim 2011. And I'm not going to argue some of the bear titles like people do. If you finish #1 in the AP or UPI/Coaches I'm good. Everything else belongs in the garbage.

Kentucky is the only one and I'll tell you why. While at Florida, Spurrier hung 51 on them and such crying and gnashing of teeth as you have never heard.
Fast forward some 3-4 months. Kentucky had SC down about 25 with under a minute to play. And they were still dunking.
Kentucky is beautiful, been all over it. Great whiskey, food and hospitality. But Cat fans are the most two-faced in the country.

if you are referring to CFB datawarehouse they have their own system which does not reflect whether or not a school claims a national championship
LSU has not claimed 1908 even though they would have a good case for it (teams from teh south didn't win back then)

I've gone to school at 3 different SEC schools, and to say that one fanbase has more trashy fans than another is pretty laughable. Except for Vandy (can't speak for Missouri or A&M yet), they're all pretty much the same but wear different colors.
