WR/RB Korvic Neat, WR Ja-Mes Logan, QB Raymond Cotton, LB Mike Marry, C Evan Swindoll, DE Alex Williams, CB Cliff Coleman to name a few.

And that's not even counting guys who made an impact as freshmen last year like Jesse Grandy, D.T Shackelford, Joel Kight, and Rodney Scott.

If Tig can get his head on straight, add him to that list. He could be one of the best players on the field next year.

The only one who I have ever heard of, that you listed other than Cotton. As for Cotton, I hear he will be Nathan Stanley's backup.

Evan Swindall and AJ hawkins are both having a good competition for Center.

Ja-mes Logan has been our most productive and electric receiver.

Raymond Cotton is in a competitive QB competition

Korvic Neat is doing extremely well at RB

Zack Mason is looking like he's going to be our starting tight end. Has as many physical gifts as any other TE in the SEC

DT Shackleford and Rodney Scott played a good bit last year and I believe Joel got some good PT as well.

You hear from who? It's a wide open race right now. Either one could break out.

Evan Swindoll has currently won the starting center job.

Keep in mind that we brought our #2, #3, and #4 recievers back from last year.

These guys are taking over starting jobs in practice over guys who have been here longer.
How could they not be dynamic enough players to make impacts?

Not quite sure about this, Shibest has said he is doing much much better but Ferbia Allen has really made some strides this spring and has drawn the most praise from Shibest. TIFWIW, I personally hope Z steps up because like you said -------

no one ever KNOWS anything. We are going by practice results.

Like I said no one KNOWS that someone is going to be a play maker or not on any team, but we do know that redshirt players are going to contribute and start in our most needed positions being Center, Receiver, and QB.

I'm excited about this guy. If Breaux and Summers can show 2008 results instead of 2009, we'll have a serviceable WR corp. Korvic Neat is an explosive player as well. I can see him doing some Dex work(Slot and RB).

Also, Randall Mackey should be added to the list of playmakers for this upcoming year.

Exactly. When RFR are getting snaps over 4-5 year seniors on any team they must be productive and talented.

And if you dont know who Rodney Scott or D.T. Shackleford are you dont follow the SEC very well.

Thats all you can go on for redshirt freshman. And thats what is being discussed. The talent of our redshirt freshman. And we are excited about them because they are getting snaps over players we know are solid because of watching them in SEC play

DT Shackelford was the best linebacker on our team as a freshman last year.

He got hurt in the South Carolina game. He's built to play MLB but our starting MLB is a three year starter. He's working out at all three positions at 6'2" 230.

Jesse Grandy scored on an end around against LSU this past year and ran two kickoffs back for Td's as our return guy. Jevan Snead also missed him on wide open post route td in the cotton bowl.

Rodney Scott moved up to our #2 RB behind Brandon Bolden last year. He ran for 100 or so yards.

Last year we had 17 returning starters and a huge class of seniors. The freshmen got a chance to redshirt and get more physical before hopping on to the field this year. We've got two straight top 20 recruiting classes. Nutt is recruiting better than Orgeron did.

Stanley is a lock to be the starter unless he gets hurt.

Maybe Cotton will beast it in the spring game or fall practice, but until further notice he's the clear No. 2, IMO.

We're returning most of our nasty D from last year, so yeah we like the competition that the Offense is going against.

If Evan Swindoll can keep J Powe out of the backfield every now and then, he's gonna be a good football player.

Rishaw Johnson's been destroying Powe from what I hear.

mine too. until our OLine proves it cant protect a pocket QB then Stanley will be our QB. But if our OLine is awful then we may need the athleticism of Cotton to get the ball off.
