Man the hubris by some of my fellow longhorns fans (maybe they’re socks or alters or whatever we call them nowadays.) I don’t get it. It’s one thing to be confident but it’s ridiculous to say we’re going to destroy storied programs like Georgia or Oklahoma, etc. Why not show a little humility. We could get beat on any given weekend here on out. Beat your chest when we win if you have to.

Yeah I agree. That's really the big difference between the SEC and Big12. You could take weeks off and squeak by the mid tier teams (we did that a lot last year) but in this league we lose some of those games.
We'll know where we really are when we play GA. We still haven't played a team that's explosive through the air and I suspect a lot of our DB stats are being padded by that. I'm in a wait and see mode on that group. If they can slow down GA then I'll finally start to believe we could win this thing if things go our way.

A&M is 3-0 in the SEC and in first place. We don't have to live vicariously through anyone. Now we have a favorable SEC schedule ahead but there is no easy road. You are about to play 7 straight SEC games and probably the "easiest" is Florida at home. You are sitting around excuse making about how you struggled to put away State that likely goes winless in the SEC this year and you played them at DKR.
