But this must sting a little more than losing to someone outside the local vicinity....What percentage of Ole Miss students do you think come from Shelby county......25 - 35%?

Shelby county itself? Probably 10%

The Mid-South area? Probably closer to 20-25%

But for real, nobody goes undefeated in baseball. These types of games happen. Everybody needs to unwad their panties.

This. Funny, though. OM loses 4-3 and their team ERA improves from 1.43 to 1.375 due to giving up only 1 earned run. State wins 13-2 and our team ERA goes up from 1.22 to 1.30.

Honestly, it's these little intricacies about baseball which make it worth watching. Even at the college level, there's so much parity. shite, look at Fresno a few years back or Stony Brook last year.

Weird shite happens in baseball, which is why every game is up for grabs at literally any given moment.

It is unlike any game. Baseball is the only thing that even time can't constrain!

No one wins with 6 errors. It was horrible weather for baseball. Memphis was prepared and we weren't. We had a guy with 2 errors all of last year that had 3 just last night. It was one of those baseball games where we didn't want to be there. Is it frustrating as a fan, yes. Is it anything to worry about, no.

Agreed, but that is baseball. It is really hard to lose in football to a much lesser team, even if you play your worst and they play their best. Yes, it does happen, but not near as much as it does in baseball.
