Yeah, his Notre Dame talk does hurt his credibility. But then again, no way he gets a national tv job with a Sylvester the cat like speech impediment had he not have been Notre Dame's beloved coach. He knows who gave him his big break.

The segment I watched (thanks viceman for directing me to the UGA-UK) Lou was surprisingly lucid and well spoken. It's like his dementia has been reversed. Very happy for him.

No, but he was coherent. More coherent than when he was on TV.

He looks down at his notes more frequently and seems more comfortable on a podcast vs national tv. He still makes some little mistakes. For example when he was speaking of Bama's offense, he said play action, when I think he meant run pass option. He still is a Notre dame homer, but that will never change.
