this was mond's stat line for the game
passing 23-51 for 287 yds and 45% completion. he did have 6 tds though - only two in regulation.
rushing 20 carries for 42 yards 1td
keep in mind this was basically a game and a half. subtract the 75 yards passing in OT and that brings it to 212 in regulation. Only ONE SEC school did better VS aggies.
As for the LSU secondary. They were the ONLY SEC secondary to allow below a 50% completion rate for the season and SEC games only.
Considering a&m secondary gave up over 60% completion rate for the season.
You sure those WRs weren't talking about that secondary they had to face every day at practice.
