why do you guys keep talking about jumping curbs?. one of the skills you must pass to get a Class A CDL is a offset.. which is pulling out of one spot and backing into the spot next to it... which would literally be the "skill" he needs to use once he is down the road in front of him. this guy is retarded or he is training his cousin or something because this is not correct at all.

I don't give a shite about any of that. I would have had that cat in on 2 tries if he jumped the curb

eta: That light pole possibly made what you're saying impossible. Cut the angle by jumping the curb. Some times out in the field, you gotta say frick the book/office/designers etc...

That goes for any trade btw

i re examined the picture after some time away as i read through the posts... its not the correct angle for offset.. and you will probably need a little curb action tbh... id say best bet to go with no curb would be facing to the right and huge the curb as much as possible while turning it in... hell i dont know.. i would probably get all pissed and launch the keys out of the driver window

I'm sorry I'm so invested int this. I've dealt with big rigs on deliveries on sites and the warehouse I'm in charge of for like 10 years. I'm talking thousands of these things.

I can spot the minute if the driver knows what he is doing or not. And it just makes me laugh when the Canadians try to tell me in broken English 'No, No, Impossible!'
