I think if they are smart they ask Saban to pick a successor and go after that guy. He obviously knows how to win and has a 100 coordinators out there coaching. I would trust his judgement, he's earned that.

Now if that guy tanked I would look to the B1G or Pac12 for my next coach as they both play championship level football (style).

Im assuming Urban, Dabo, Smart are off the table and the Big12 seems to play a different style that would get drilled elsewhere style of football.

Bama is a blue blood and doesnt have to guess with a mid-major coach.
