Agreed. Kiffin ran his mouth to show that he was not afraid of UF. He was setting the tone and making sure his team knew that he believed in them. Nobody thought UT should've even been on the same field as UF, but the Vols made a game out of it. All I'm saying is that Kiffin says a lot of things to get a response out of his team. Seems to be working so far.

Talking about recruiting. He has UT well on their way to another top 10 class. UT has a pretty bad QB and have played well despite him so far this season. It is early and they have a losing record, but I have been fairly surprised by their performance this year. On top of this, Kiffin has people talking about UT again

3-Kiffin is butthurt because most people saw that he was playing for the close loss
I have seen a lot of people this week talk about how he was too conservative and just trying to get out of there without the Gators hanging half a-hundred on them.
Has anyone taken into effect how absolutely HORRIBLE Crompton is?? If he were my QB, i would have probably done the same thing. Hardesty was succesfull running the ball, so I can see why he stuck with it. As scared as they were to let Crompton even throw a pass on 3rd and 8, no way they let him try to manage a no huddle situation.

Yes, we know Crompton sucks.
However, it is their urgency that baffled me and others.
They huddled up and burned 15-20 seconds before each play. I was at the game and could not figure out why the hell they didn't go to the no-huddle and try to run the ball down our throats.
They really couldn't do that either since they barely had over 100 yards rushing.
They had one nice drive all game.

You know, UGA and UF fans should be worried. I mean, Kiffin has busted onto the scene with a 1-2 record and the fan base is thrilled that they only lost by 10 to UF.
Of course Kiffin is going to be on top of the East soon. After this season Meyer and Richt are going to be battling for 2nd place, thats a guarantee.

I have heard that TEBOW is a crutch for Urban to win close games. Which is true.
In my opinion CROMPTON has been a crutch for Lane Kiffin losing two games. If Kiffin is such and offensive genius how come he can't coach up Crompton at all? Maybe make the play book more simple for him? Anything.
If Crompton is so horrible put the back up in!
And did Kiffin not already run off a recruit by telling him he would not work in his system? (Not sure if this is true.)
Crompton is taking ALL the attention from Kiffin's lack of offense this year.
His father is doing okay with Fulmer's god awful athletes on defense why can't Lane do anything on offense with Fulmers god awful athletes?
My point is that Kiffin seems to get all the credit for everything going on good at UT and none of the blame for what is not good. But don't worry Lane, CROMPTON will handle that blame for you ALL BY HIMSELF.
*I hope folks realize the god awful athletes comments were sacrastic*

Never thought about Crompton taking Lane's load before.
Seriously though, you have a point.

Face it Gators you could not beat us like you wanted 2 and your not as good as you think!

Keep the faith vollie. You'll be back to beating KY in a year or two. You can't spell moral victory without UT.
