That SEC title game is the last thought on voters minds...not surprising
The issue they probably have is any QB can look good at Bama. Though any QB can at OU too so it’s a bs argument but it’s likely the one in their mind

I guess people don't realize Tua got a high ankle sprain on his 4th play of the game.

I'm guessing he's not overly torn up about it. He knows he faltered, and, more importantly, he has a legitimate shot at being known as the starting QB for the greatest team in CFB history if he can lead Bama to the title. Since they'll gave beaten 3 of the top 5 teams in the country in the post-season, it probably won't even really matter how much they win by after the season they've had. They'll be very much in the conversation regardless.
Football is a team sport. My old coach taught us to genuinely appreciate the beauty of that. Though he'd have smacked me upside the head for suggesting he talked about "beauty" with regards to football. He was an irascible sort of man.
