If we go to Bama and win by 3 - 7 points then Bama will still be ranked ahead of us. The national media, pollsters and hell even our own league has a love affair with Bama and LSU. Why not, they have the national titles and performances in championship bowl games to warrant this.

I think the point he's trying to make is we all heard this same hype from Bama last year.IMO you guys had a better team last year than this year. Still too early to tell either way. Defense is better thats a fact. But you don't lose your starting QB, a heisman TB, and a standout WR on offense and expect your O to be better. The Koolaid is strong in T-Town sometimes

Leon did not play as much at the end of the season. He did not start against LSu and only played a quarter against Miss state. Terrell Williams filled in as the starter.
Ramon Broadway was lost for the season against South Carolina.

LSU looks more impressive than BAMA right now. Arkansas is better than Oregon and Penn State at this point. Which you will find out soon enough.

Welcome to football - it's quite the team sport. If one or two players make a mistake, it costs the whole team.
