It's all the Bear's fault....

Until OM gets rid of the Bear, Nutt will be a failure...

His reputation of killing them comes from Snead and Stoerner staying the extra year that seen their draft stock plummet.
I don't know much about Stoerner, so I'll take your word on it. Regarding Snead, he had two NFL caliber tackles (Oher and John Jerry), an NFL caliber wideout (Mike Wallace), and an NFL caliber all purpose guy (Dexter McCluster). He looked good because he had good players around him.
Truly good quarterbacks do just the opposite. Truly good quarterbacks make the players around them better. Look at Eli Manning. None of the skill players he had on his offense with him are in the NFL (to be fair, some of the starters on his line are in the NFL), but he put up huge numbers and won games. THAT is what good quarterbacking is. Having Mike Oher block for you while you huck it deep to Mike Wallace isn't good quarterbacking - but it's enough to trick people into thinking it is.

It is a well known fact your head coach is so bad at in-home visits that your AD and recruiting coordinator were wanting to ban Mullen from making in-homes.
