btw...don't take that as a shot towards Florida. We were given an opportunity and we took it.

But I don't think that makes Arkansas fans feel much better about 2009.

in a relative sense... showed dramatic improvement... going from the worst team in teh SEC to one of the better ones... in one year

but 9 wins is still not wow

Arkansas fans just need to face it. They caught UF on a good day, where UF played like crap, and Arkansas played lights out on defense, and they couldn't get the job done.

Arkansas should have won by 2 TD.

Not necessarily. But it should have been a win if not for some outside factors.

Perhaps, in 2010, they'll be even better, but I doubt that UF would have as bad a game the 2nd time around. Even against Alabama, a team that destoryed them, UF didn't have as many mistakes as they did against Arkansas

I really doubt Arkansas would play as bad at HOME, either. Mallett was pretty average at Florida (or any other road game). He's been inhuman in all home games.

Oh come on. Mallet was inhuman at home against the tough defenses of Missouri State, Georgia, Eastern Michigan, Troy, and Auburn.

South Carolina was the best defense they saw at home all year long.

But yeah, Arkansas could win 10 games next year and win the west. That wouldn't shock me.

But I don't think it's going to happen either.
