Like I've said, as long as this process is completely subjective, teams like Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Clemson, and even USC and Texas, will get the benefit of the doubt where other teams wouldn't. As Keith Hornsby's dad once said, That's just the way it is.

I agree it brings up the human factor debate. Then again, the old way included a coach's poll which we all knew A. It was never done by coaches & B. The human factor (which often had wonders on voting for/against a team regardless how their game turned out).
