What the hell does that have to do with you asking a question in the OP while Alabama had multiple examples of it happening in just the past 15 years?
If the SEC championship game existed in 1989, it would have been another year except not a 12 game schedule so technically we were only 10-0 going into the last game of the season.

Everyone knows you’re trolling, but Bama 2011 is an example even though they weren’t 11-0 at the time of the game.
It still shows how hard it is to make it to the game on SEC some years.
