To be honest...I hated Nutt when he was at Arkansas....but that was only because ya'll beat the frick out of us every year.
But I really like him now, because he is winning us games and getting us to bowls. I'm happy with where we are at. Arkansas fans are happy with where they are at too. So, both sides won in my opinion.

Old Miss and Arkansas are happy with .500 or below SEC records even if it gets them to the Cotton or Liberty bowls?

Nah, we got sick of that being the high water mark.
Ole Miss is 10 yrs behind us. They'll get tired of it, too.

I feel da love up in here!
Just don't see the Rebs doing better than 7-5, but ya never know about Hootie... 8-4 or 9-3 is a possibility.

I liked Orgeron when he was hired. I thought he was really gonna tear it up. But by the middle of the second season I realized I had been listening to too much ESPN. He is quite a character though.

you've seen their schedule, right?

I see 7-5 too. Possibly 8-4. Deal is R2R, Hootie might drop a couple he should win.

I knew halfway through the 2005 season. Which I never liked that hire anyway. Especially after the Arkansas game in 05.

Losses to:
Bama
Arky
Auburn
LSU
State (Fresno or Miss)
Just don't see Masoli making it through the SEC healthy....

And that was about the time Hootie really started unleashing (even though the season was terrible) Felix, DMAC, and Co. But I can see why you thought that. I think a lot of Arkansas fans knew what we had with those guys before Hootie did.

That schedule is one the easiest SEC schedules I have ever seen. Throw in a legit QB (who will have time w/ the schedule to learn offense) and a solid D and they could go 9-3 or 10-2 this year (without being very good) Only sure loss is Bama. Consider:
I am sticking with my guns in saying that Ole Miss will not be a very good team. However, I did not realize their schedule was that ridiculously easy. They play the 3 worst teams in the East.
I see an 8-4 schedule with OM going to Bama with a 5-0 record and top 25 rank, but then 3 straight losses to Bama, Arkansas and Auburn, and then another loss to LSU.

I remember being at that game and being so pissed at O for once again not finishing a game out. The fricker had no clue that there was 4 quarters in a game.

There was a game where Nutt played 4 different QBs.
One on the sideline that didn't play was named Matt Jones.
Just sayin.
The guy could frick up a wet dream.
Oh noes, this thread done went and got hateful.

O just isn't head coach material. He's where he needs to be.

Hope he never returns to these parts. Hell, his wife and kids didn't even follow him out to Cali.

I remember that too ...and Matt breaking loose on a long run right after being put in when he did get to play. I remember Paul Eels on the radio..."Oh My!, Oh My! ...and Matt Jones just outran the entire..."(something like that)
ETA:The first game he did play anyway. You're right. He didn't play him for a while.
