I've got friends calling me to make sure I'm alive

Construction traffic on I-20 absolutely sucks.

Ok, just be careful. My car saved my arse earlier this year when I started to drift off.

Steering wheel vibrates if you start to drift significantly.

I was about 30 minutes from Gainesville on an empty road. Wheel buzzed when i was half way in the other lane.

I've been good so far. Blaring music and got the window down.

A bit. It's used.

I'm rather blessed when it comes to.that sort of thing. I owe a lot to my parents. I wouldn't have jack shite if not for them.

This car was my grandmothers, and I got it after she passed. It's got low miles for an 04 (gonna hit 70k on this trip) and it doesn't burn oil at all.

It had 50,000 when I got it.

She bought it used, but never really drove it. Only drove it to church and Cracker Barrell really.

When mom had it before I got it, she only drove it to work, which was 2 miles.

Since I got it, I've put at least 15k on it.

Same here. Memphis to Gainesville then Gainesville to Oxford and back twice.

Still its getting nearly 30 mpg. My land rover got 15. It was cheaper to fly.

Also, I've now got a craving for Cracker Barrel chicken and dumplings with fried apples

I get roughly 31 on the highway. I would've flown to Shreveport, but it was gonna cost roughly 500, use 3 flights, and take 9 hours with layovers.

Plus I'm got all my music shite I'd have to check, which would be even more expensive. So I decided that since it costs roughly $35 to fill my tank up, takes two and a half tanks to get there, and only takes 4 more hours, it would be better to drive.

Not fair.

I use to fly Mem-Atl-GVille for$380. It cost me $90+ to fill up the LR because it took premium and it took 3 1/2 tanks to get there.

I'm getting worse gas mileage because when you add me at 215, plus about 200 pounds of gear/clothes, it takes a little more power. I think I'm getting 26-29 mpg right now.
