Ok well he said himself that Diaz leaving affected his decision. What am I to believe now, that CJ's a liar?
I can understand him being upset b/c he and Diaz had a great relationship, but to decommit and consider a school that you 've have talk shite about all year. The Only game he attended@ UM went horribly for Ole Miss. His best friend Josh Boyd plays on defense@MSU.He lives 45 min from campus. He stated how close he wants to be to his mom. You're right I can totally see how Ole Miss pulls him legitamately.I mean b/c it's so rare a coordinator leaves for a better job.WTF ever, nobody is Dumb enough to believe that.

And because it's rare for kids to decommit as a result of a coaching change?

Personally I think us stealing your recruits is even more hilarious if we paid them. Then it just looks like poor little msu getting outbid by everyone because they're trying to be the good guys

I agree. This is the SEC, not the Big 10. If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'.

After reading this thread from the beginning I can say that this thread has a shite ton of fail.
To the guy arguing that 37 commits helps your ranking. Your argument is based on the fact that Nutt looks at the rankings and that he signed 37 for the sole purpose of boosting his recruiting rankings. Coaches couldn't give 2 shits about recruiting rankings.
No player goes in to signing day not knowing if they are going to have a scholarship paper or not. Nutt has already talked to the greyshirt/ sign and place candidates. They know what is going on before hand.

I believe they will when they see that you have filled 25 slots already and Nutt saying (basically) he does not care so long as he fills his spots. What happens to the other what.. 5-10 players who will find out they don't have one? Where CAN they go after signing a LOI?
And allow me to say this.. I feel the same way if it was any coach doing that.

5 CJ Johnson fun facts:
CJ Johnson is looking around b/c Diaz is gone. There is a direct correlation between Diaz leaving and CJ decommitting.
CJ Johnson likes Tyrone Nix, and Nix has done a great job recruiting him behind the scenes (must have been more focused on that instead of actual coaching lulz).
CJ Johnson is visiting Ole Miss this weekend and OM feels good about their chances to land him on NSD.
CJ Johnson likes Les Miles and had a good in-home visit with him this week.
CJ Johnson may or may not visit LSU on Jan 28th weekend.

This is mainly depending on how the visit goes this weekend and how Nutt's in home visit goes Tuesday. Hopefully he can talk him out of it and the rumor is starting to spread that it is a possibility.

To BELIEVE,that a kid who has been A State fan all his life.Who has been commited to State for over a yr. His best friend plays for State and it's 45 min away from home.T State goes 9-4 and wins Gator Bowl.Returns most of their DL and all their secondary. The only position we are thin at,is the position he plays. Now you expect me to believe he decommits from State to go to a 4-8 Ole Miss team who returns next to nothing from a defense that was already terrible last yr.Tell me who has the better selling point? What does Ole Miss have to sell? It's shady fella. You know it,I know it.Like I said nobody is that dumb.

What does Ole Miss have to sell
Ole Miss has sent about 4 times as many players to the NFL in the last 5 years
Nutt has been to Atlanta
Nutt's goal is to make it to Atlanta not soly beat his rival. (reference to egg bowl countdown clock)
Nutt is a people person, Muellen isn't
While they were in high school being recruited Ole Miss has had 2 good seasons and MSU has 1.
I could go on.

NOT being MSU?
And an English Comp program that teaches you how to space after punctuation.

I have kept hope for CJ this entire time until after his visit with us. If he was feeling like everyone had an equal shot after his visit, I feel like OM or LSU will land him. It's a shame too. I can handle him going to LSU. But for him to be committed before Diaz was here, recruit against Ole Miss, say he wants to be close to his mom, gets his shite ripped off his neck while at an Ole Miss game, and commit to Ole Miss after their 4-8 embarrassment of a season with an empty stadium and no atmosphere, it would make it really hurt. It definitely makes some red flags go up, and if you rebs can't admit it, you're kidding yourselves. I'm not gonna sit here and accuse anyone of something I have no idea about, but damnit damnit damnit, it stinks.
