Gouge isn’t going to dump this mess in Robert’s lap. He will clean it up before he leaves. Harsin will have to go soon in order for new coach to be in place by May.

Which hire in the last 30 years hasnt been a shitshow? Tater Tot got shown the door because he wasnt playing ball. Tubs had Jetgate and Petrino. Chizik had the Cam drama and then players commiting armed robbery. Then Gus was a whole different kind of circus.
So yeah, this has been going on since the 90's. And that doesnt even bring up Dye and his forced retirement and probation.

Possible scenarios:
1. Gouge removes Harsin, new coach is hired (likely Steele—if he fails, good ole boys are fully to blame) and rebuilding begins.
2. Gouge.dumps it in lap of Roberts and battle continues. It will not die down for long at any time until Harsin is gone. Harsin was not a GOB hire. It will split the board until this issue is resolved. Harsin is going to continue to be Harsin and will not speak to GOB adding fuel to the fire. The battle will continue as it is right now for a protracted period of time creating chaos.
What should Gouge do?

Every loser Twitter “mega fan” thinks they can be radio host/podcasters these days. It’s hilarious watching these dumbass fans host “shows”.
They’re the ones that regularly call into local radio sports talk stations and desire to be accepted by local media. Tennessee has quite a few of these and it’s so cringe to watch.
