It matters where in Texas you are from.
The Longhorns were popular early because most of the ranching was done in South Texas.
The cattle could survive and produce meat on the shrubs of the South Texas Plains.
Once again Aggy will insult their own state because of jealousy towards UT.
Not all Aggies but a good percentage of them.
