I was talking about Ole Miss having a better line then last year. Does Ole Miss have a new LT?
sorry....We thought you were referring to MSU.

Has Kentrell Lockett made it through a full season without a injury? He has seem injury prone through out his career.

Don't remember him being injured in 2008-2009. IIRC, he had an ACL injury when he first got here in ~2007.

I'm not saying that Sherrod wasn't a huge loss (he was) but it's not as big a deal as people would like it to be.
He was a hell of an anchor on the DLine though. It's a definite loss on that side of the line.

He's missed one season, last season because of injury. He's been a beast all season long of every other season.

D and Homefield advantage I think will be the difference this year. Will youth on D help or hurt Ole Miss this year?

They couldn't possibly get much worse.

O line you mean? Sherrod will be a loss, he is a first round NFL talent at the LT position. I do think Mullen will be able to mask that loss though.

I wasn't talking about the gap in head to head. More about the entire season. I really think that the egg bowl has gotten so emotional that talent and home field is thrown out the door. Unless we're coming in looking god awful, I wouldn't put money down on that game

I see what you saying in regard to the style of offense State runs and how the LT isn't as much of a cornerstone as he is in a traditional offense. But my point is that teams will still attack the weak link and I can't help but think that will be Relf's blind side. I will gladly eat crow if yall's LT doesnt struggle.

How are yall going to have a better OL?
by having 3 guys starting for their 3rd season in a row and a 4th who may actually be better than them.
Quality depth is our only question on the OL

Wow- a decent answer from a Bear
I think we will have the better offense, but it should be fairly close- you guys have more passing game questions than we do.
I just dont see you guys closing the defensive gap THIS season. I think Mississippi has a 100+ ranked D again in 2011

I see us improving to the 70s. That D lat year had no identity or leadership. Ole40 got hurt and was depressed so he didnt offer any leadership, DT was a soph, D Jackson was a juco guy still learning his way week-to-week, and the rest of the seniors were smokin trees.
This year our secondary will no doubt be better because we will have more speed/talent and be much much better coached.
The front 7 could def take their lumps early, I will be the first to say it. However, we do have size - The MC boys and the juco guys all over 300 lbs - and you throw in guys on the edge like Kentrell, a motivated Wayne Dorsey, the cerebral Jason Jones, and freak-o-nature Carlos Thompson - I am excited about the potential on our DL.
LB is the most concerning. Young guys will have to step up. CJ will have to start and fellow frosh Keith Lewis will have to offer depth as well as Ralph Williams who has shown alot of potential. Joel Kight and Mike Marry are good players that will round out the starting unit with CJ but after that it's really damn thin.

Don't waste your time brees. The coach sees us going 4-8. With our offense, much improved offseason, new coaches, and back against the wall motivation, we would have to have. 100+ defense to lose 8 games.

and back against the wall motivation,
Might be lost if you lose to BYU.
But I see 6 wins:
SI, Vandy, FS, Kent, Tech. Probably BYU and/or an SEC upset.
