He didn't need to "stick up for him". The receiver wasn't being bullied, he got hit head to head and the ref immediately called the penalty. No need for racing down the field and crying to the refs about it, trying to make a scene.

Just in response to the guy claiming Mett was a "classless douche" and "bitch", simply for going off the field after his o-line gave up on him that last drive. You might have missed that or conveniently ignored it. Overgeneralizing is fun
