re: I guess it is only right that Bama fans would be whining about the out of bounds

Completely different secondary, except for Mark Barron.

it was a bad call ,and even more so considering the re-play guys didn't overturn it.

With that said, even though turnovers are part of football --or basketball -- relying on turnovers to win is going to be tough. Honestly, down 21-15 at the time, it would have been interesting, but with the handcuffs the staff had on Lee it would have taken a miracle. The best team that day, won,Alabama.

As for last night, this we got hosed stuff is nuts. For one thing, even if Green didn't STEP out of bounds he DRIBBLED out of bounds which is the same thing.Sure the refs missed some calls which hurt Alabama. They did for Vandy, too. How did all of the sudden midway in the second half did Vanderbilt forget how to bring the ball up midcourt ?Of course you're going to get the ball stolen when someone bodychecks you at midcourt.

The best team won last night, too.

I couldn't even remember who was playing QB at the time. I don't hang onto losses. I'm FOCUSED on the PROCESS.

That was different. You weren't going to win that game anyway.

I, for one, am willing to admit that. That Bama defense was sick and even if we had gotten the ball, there was no way in hell we were scoring.

Hey it's JARRETT LEE remember? Saban could be out there himself and it wouldn't matter, right? That's what I was hearing from y'all before last year's game. Same for JJ.

Obviously none of us will ever know for sure what would have happened if we had been awarded that INT as it should have been. But you can't say for sure that we wouldn't have any more than we can say for sure that we would have.

Did you see how open RR was? Saban could've made that throw. I would say "we" (I for one, didn't say that), got it right.

In all fairness, the PP7 call was in a sport that people actually care about.

This is a common statement among fans who's basketball team sucks balls.

JMO - I think most alabama fans would rather have 1 BCS NC (in 2011) than 2 men's basketball championships (in 2011 and 2012)

The only school in the SEC that really loves basketball more than football is Kentucky

I would like LSU basketball to stop sucking but it's not something that bothers me a day or two later... unlike football or maybe even LSU baseball (where a bad loss may depress me for a week)

It was all after the whistle. You don't know what would have happened without the whistle.

He thought the whistle was for a foul, he was trying to lay it up and score. He missed and there was nothing but Vanderbilt players under the goal for the rebound.

Sounds like a coaching issue.

No,but certainly 15 months later I wouldn't use up a lot of energy thinking of ways the 2009 Jarret Lee would have pulled that game out. And,to be fair, lets say ,somehow, someway we would have scored to go up 22-21, they did have an All-American place kicker to try to win the game.

Have you ever tried to shoot with a whistle in your ear? Plus, there should have been a foul. There also should have been one when Mitchell got smacked in the face.

It's one drive, anything could have happened. Neither side can say they would have been more likely to win than the other.
