Yeah, yeah, yeah... Lucky breaks and all that. The fact is you've never once seen Georgia do what it had to do to get it done. They've let you down.
Even with that blown call we were national champs.

All I've ever said is that 03 LSU, 06 UF, 07 LSU, 08 UF, and now 11 bama are going to have at least 1 loss and still get to play for the title, while in our 2 best years we didn't. Maybe so, but I've seen a hell of a lot better football in my life from my team than you have, not to mention we have absolutely owned tech's arse over the same time frame.

While it is true that we have no recruiting competition in-state, there are areas that are hotbeds for other teams. South Georgia is a major FSU pipeline, Columbus is a big Auburn area, etc. Despite that, we have still done quite well at securing the state over a 10 year period.

In the 90s we had incompetent coaching, and in the 2000s we've had other SEC schools have some of their best coaches/teams in school history. That's a lot to compete with. I'm quite sure if we played an ACC schedule we would have a few title appearances.

When tech finally lucked into a now vacated win, in Snellville some nerds climbed up a roadside billboard and spraypainted the score it was that big of a deal. And I swear, I shite you not, I saw a license plate the next month that said 21to19. We would never do something like that for beating your joke of a program.

As far as pure hatred this rivalry is far, far worse than UGA/Aub. People will laugh but I'd put it on par with the iron bowl and I'm not kidding. I've personally attended 2 Iron Bowls and I was not impressed. The only reason it gets all the pub for being so hate filled is because all the state has or has ever had is football so a much bigger deal is made about the game. But go to a UGA/tech game in Atlanta and you'll find out real quick that this game is just as heated as any other in the country.
