We really dont want UVA. They have a history of getting pissy about "cheating" and de-emphasizing their own athletic program to show everyone how "mr. Jefferson's college" values academics. They basically were a club football team from 1951 to 1982 because ohio state wasn't playing fair. Buddy of mine from Virginia told me there is a lot of talk about de-emphasizing athletics again.

Getting owned by your little bro in almost every sport will cause you to think about de-emphasizing athletics.

Yeah, I see this as about as likely as UGA letting GT in. Texas can come over our dead collies bodies.

Aggies need to win a SEC title before your president gets a vote.

Yes. And we are the largest school in Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

National followings are achieved by about 5 or 10 colleges. So lol at that question. Of course I'm sure you'll some up with some way to define national following. But you have to be careful because if you go with "fans all over the nation" a school like nc state easily has that covered.

Well at least we are better than OM, Kentucky, Vandy, MSU, Arkansas and USC

After the SEC begs State to join, we will win multiple championships in both football and basketball immediately.

I'm in Hoover today for the SEC tournament. I'm wearing a NC State shirt. I welcome any of you inbred rednecks who wish to fight me.

Lol, well they are certainly good at pissing on as many of their fellow conference members as possible. When they join and you have to sign up for the LHN to watch MSU play the sips, I can't wait to hear the wailing an gnashing of teeth.

But you really don't. You're a basketball state. Your football stadium barely holds 57k, which would barely put you ahead of Vanderbilt and Ole Miss, and you don't win. If you have fans all over the nation, they aren't SEC level, and your name brand doesn't resonate with anyone. You want to claim, "average" when you are far below average. You provide nothing but tv sets, and even that is farfetched. The jump to 16 will essentially make two mini conferences, the SEC West and the SEC East. Your presence would provide no value other than marginal tv revenue, and would prevent more cross divisional matchups of actual relevance.

No you're not. You're better than Vandy, and maybe even with Ole Miss.

You never won your division in the ACC, you will never win a game in the SEC. Long hair don't care.

More teams that diminish your chances of winning the division once every 50 years?

Is State dumber than Ole Miss? I know they are the two stupidest schools in the SEC, but I thought they were at least somewhat smarter than Ole Miss and maybe Arkansas.

I don't know about all that, but the fact that UNC controls your BOT gives me pause. Can NCSU even act in its own interest without UNC's approval? I don't know how I feel about letting a school in that still has the puppet strings attached.
