Thought he was done for the year. That not the case? If so, then that's great news.

Have no idea. Was on the field with no radio and didn't get home till just now. Didn't see anything on twitter from beat writers and such saying anything specific. I'm sure he'll get fully checked out on Monday. He was just in a minor ankle boot and didn't show any signs of being in pain. He just looked really pissed and down because he was sidelined with an injury. Usually he's pretty talkative with me and most others but he was very quiet and reserved. We REALLy needed him to help us sustain some drives late in the game. He's far and away the best non-scat/speedster back we have. Scott has amazing speed and all but right now, he's so much better as a complimentary back.

Btw.....Whoever was on the bottom of the pile for BYU when Bolden went down is a POS. Bolden was quite obviously down and the BYU guy rolled and turned his foot over after he was down. The play wasn't called dead at that time but it was completely unnecessary. happened right in front of me.

BUY who was 7-6 last year. Really good team is an overstatement no matter how you look at it.

They returned a LOT from last year. I think CB's is the only main question for them. They have a really good safety(name escapes me) and Reynolds(iirc) may be a 1st round pick at tackle for them. Not too mention Jake Heaps is one hell of a QB. They're looking towards a BCS game. I seriously doubt they'll make it to that but they'll win some good games. I'm extremely interested in how they play Texas next Saturday.

Bronco Mendenhall is a damned good coach and they'll be a team to watch for sure. I met him after the game and you wouldn't think he's a HC the way he interacts. Comes off as humble as a GA. I really gained some respect for the guy tonight.

Any word on if Jeff Scott is the only RB to make it out of that game?

Bruised calf muscle. Nothing serious......thank god.

Also saw Enricky Davis with just a slight hobble after his injury. My guess is just a simple knee contusion.

but what do I know....I'm no doctor.....I'm just a bit drunk and saw him "walking" around the sidelines.

After this year you will fall back into the cellar of the west. You will have more questions at skilled positions than you will know what to do with. We will have 9 guys back on offense (1 o-line 1 rb) and 8 guys back on D. We are playing only 7 seniors on our 2 deep and 19 underclassmen (11 fr) in our 2 deep. We are young as shite but talented. If we could get them coached up your damn right I will take our talent the next 3 years over yours.

you're a fricking idiot...I dont know of anybody outside of Oxford that would take your "talent" over State's

Mullen had a really good first class(mainly some top notch Juco guys...which is kudos to him) and a decent 2nd class.

I'm not as homerish to say that I wouldn't want quite a few of his upperclassmen. But we do have some fricking good freshman and sophomores right now. I wouldn't trade Moncrief and Snoop for any WR you have right now(considering they're freshman and we have them for 3-4 years) for any WR you have right now.......that is unless Bumpis can actually look like an elite WR other than padding yardage with end-arounds and screens. btw....has he developed the skill to take a hit and gain that extra yard for the 1st down instead of pansy-assing OOB a yard short? That was my biggest problem with him last year.

I would like to have Ballard from you guys...especially with Bolden going down tonight. Hopefully he'll be back by the UGA game.

But we'll see how our numbers compare with yours after next week when we've both played a decent/good team AND a "Memphis"-type team. You play Auburn and we play Southern Illinious or some shite.....so that would make us even.

I've torn my MCL twice and both times I jogged and walked on it in the hours after the tear without much of a limp at all. I just couldn't make cuts or get anywhere near top speed obviously.

quite possible. But stop being such a count .....i'm still trying to be optimistic after Bolden wen't down. He looked a bit depressed and didn't really communicate with me much. Our Run game was supposed to help make up for a learning curve in our passing game this year.

Sorry about that. I do hope he's fine though. You definitely don't want any kid being knocked out for an entire year much less one game.

its all good.....and I'm the same way. I never wish injury on anyone. I really hated Niles Davus going down. I really liked him because he wasn't some flashy, ridiculously-hyped RB like you have with Dyer, Lattimore, etc.(no knock on them).

I like a gritty, quite RB that breaks out.

Yep me as well. Give me I-Formation power running with a bruising FB leading the way any day of the week. I loved our running game last year when we would punish people with Knile and Van Stumon.
