Some of the twitter stuff was pretty funny during the course of the day. Crazy how many former players from Texas, Auburn and Florida chimed in to wish him Happy Birthday. He is definitely a players' coach.

Actually it seems all of the college football world forgot. Boom was...well..."a big deal".
It just took a rabid Gator administration with very little patience and winning withdrawals from having coaching legends Spurrier and Meyer to jump the gun and fire Boom.
I'm so glad they did because he is perfect for USC and we have never had a coach like him in more ways than one. We never landed the hottest young coach on the market. We did by proxy
Everyone forgot but like I said Boom was a big deal when Florida got him. We have never had a young coach with his energy. We have never had a coach so good at recruiting. Everyone likes this guy. Perfect fit for USC and sooner than later hea going to coach and win some big games

What all the other guys and gals said above is true .... we're glad to have him, I think most Gamecock fans are.
Both parties were blessed. We fans for getting Boom, and Boom and his family for getting us.
mUSChamp told us when he first got here that SPURrier told him shortly after he took the job ... "you can't help but love the place and the fans, and they'll love you back."
Boom, over two years later this past January right after the Michigan win, told some friends he really understands it all now.
He's the first one to really put in the work, 100% effort. He's giving us exactly what he asks from his players and we fans.
We can't ask for anything more.
