Frankie Hammond being the most consistent WR is terrible news. We've heard that for at least the last two years and he is definitely the most consistent... at never getting open.

God UF really is going to blow this year. Oh well...

The lack of play makers on offense is astounding.

Jeez. Gator poster swag is at an all time low around here. For me the numbness has set it. I look forward to our season and have high hopes of us going 8-4.

Swag bag is empty. Need a refill.

I was hopeful that the offense would show some improvement but I just don't think we have the personnel to get much going.

Pease doesn't have much to work with so it'll be rough going again on the offensive side of the ball.

We just need to get his offense installed this year and try to survive. 8-4 would be glorious.

This whole super delta force top secret QB situation is really getting annoying. I really don't care who starts I just hope someone sets themselves apart from the other and we find out soon.

THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!!!!

OP didn't mention one of the pics was on a tipped ball and the other on a busted route. I know that doesn't make it much better, but that's better than the QB's knowingly throwing it into coverage

Giving me hope for my Ags with your visit on Sept 8.

I will never understand why Florida hired Coach Boom. That one is going to leave a mark.

Because he was a proven dc and good enough to be coach-in-waiting at a program like Texas?

So instead of letting texas find out he wasn't head coach material, Yall decided to do it for them?

What does Boom have to do with our offensive struggles?

They are recruiting well and hired Pease. I'm not sure what else you want from him to date.

He may not work out but he's got to get three years at least.

Even if he doesn't work out, he's building up our roster for the next guy.

No one ever answers this question. If not Boom, then who, that was available and "worthy" to coach at UF?

Agree on F. Hammond (always have heard that stuff), although can you elaborate on the last part? The recieving corps isn't good, but if our OL can finally get it going, hopefully we can at least get by with a solid running game.

No, actually, it doesn't....

So just going 6-6 with only 60-something players in the first season and it's automatically a bust, huh? Got it....

Who else was available? The better question is who wasn't. Florida is a Top 5 job with virtually unlimited cash to go after anyone. Why hire a guy who was the DC for a 5-7 team who has never been a HC before? That was really the best UF could do?

Maybe he works out but I still can't understand why UF would get a "learn on the job" guy when they could probably have all but about 10 coaches in FBS if they really wanted them. I've never been impressed with Boom back to his Texas days. Screams a lot and didn't play well with others, nothing ever seemed to be his fault either. Sure he coached some great defenses but it wasn't like he was a miracle worker. The "HC in waiting" was always a joke as well. Personally I think UF should have gone all out for Stoops.

In terms of the offensive struggles, he is the HC! He gets pick of the litter in Florida for talent and can hire any OC he wants. How can he NOT have a great offense? It's not like he inherited a disaster, Florida was #1 in Recruiting in '07, #3 in '08, #11 in '09, and #2 in '10 according to Rivals. How do you not win 10 games with that?

At least scrimmage is open saturday. I know they won't open the playbook on an open scrimmage, but at least I can see for my own 2 eyes "what the wide world of sports is going on here".

Actually, I'm pretty sure we scrimmage on Friday and Saturday is just a show practice. At least that is what I heard.
