1) I was a branch manger for Enrmterprise rent a car and know sales managers at 2 different GMC dealerships. That is a straight lie GMC dealerships have loaner programs. As a enterprise manager getting dealerships(Toyta, Nissan, Lexus, Ford, GMC,ext) off their own loaner cars and on to ours if they had their own. 2. Total lie people have been in loaner cars for over 6 months if there is a bad back order, repairs or paint was repaired wrong or extensive damage like frame repair. And insurance will cover over 3 months. If you are going through your own insurance you typically have a set amount like $30/day which would equal $2,700 total. Meaning it would last 3 months but if you got a small car that is under $30/day you could get over 3 months. State Fram is different the do were they pay 80% you pay 20% but there is still a total so if you get a cheaper car their 80% will be less so it can last longer. If you are going through someone else insurance it can go over the 3 months the insurance company might force the dealer or repair shop to cover it if it's their fault but they won't kick you out of the car. 3. Yes repairs can take that long it's rare but happens and I have worked with dealerships sometimes they don't need the car and get lazy. Dealers only have banks care about cars if they don't own them and many buy them out right. And his insurance would cover and the dealership holds liability so there's would cover.
