I see a ton of Tech flags and stickers in Fayette County where my parents live, but its always old people. Hopefully Collin's antics and marketing can bring more younger fans to the program such as myself and convince more local kids to stay in the city and play for Tech.
Younger kids tend to select a team based on if they are winning. Tech has, as a whole, had it rough lately, so a lot of the younger kids are picking UGA. That said, some kids will pick who they are brought up watching/cheering for by their parents, or who their friends are cheering for.
I kind of hate to see Johnson leave. When he was there he picked players that fit his system (Rightfully so) and it was rarely the same players Georgia was after. now, Tech will be going after a lot of the same players. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Tech is still a really tough sell.

The best is a poster on here named gatorhata claiming that GT is their biggest rival.
There are a lot of people that say GT is our biggest rival. I think it has lost some of that hate lately because we beat them so much. Hopefully their new coach will get them better and we can have some really big games again...but we don't want them to get too good.
Most Georgia fans, I think, would pick Florida right now, because they have beaten us so much and Spurrier trolled us unmercifully about it.
Auburn is always a big game, and probably always will be.
I do tend to agree with he poster that said one reason Auburn is so hated by UGA and UGA is hated by Auburn is they are both so close in accomplishments.

Yes, they are. Tough academically, and lack of any recent success. For some reason they just lack a lot of.....pizzazz? Not sure what to call it.If they can put together a couple of top 10 finishes, though, it could change.

Well I live in Gainesville and Fsu is the biggest rival among fans here
A lot of that stems from who you run into the most.
I mean, if GT beat Georgia they would be all over us unmercifully....which is why so many would still consider them our biggest rivalry. Same for Florida and FSU, I would imagine.
It really doesn't matter who somebody's biggest rival is, though. We have great games. That is what matters.

Tough academically and not much of a variety of majors. You have a downtown campus and then there's the male/female ratio...

Fsu has a better record against Florida the past 10 years than Georgia does
and that has what to do with moving forward? which is what my post addressed...
