With 7 conference games you would have to play your 3 divisional games each year. With all games being equal like they are now, why not have 2 permanent no divisional games? Still leaves 2 games to rotate.

Gotta refer back to my 16 team format I posted a few minutes ago... 4 divisions 4 teams in each division.
No matter how many teams we add 2 or 4 there are some major changes that will have to be made to the league
