Terrible logic. I think you're a rapist. The burden of proof to prove you're not a rapist is on you, not me.

quote:Power 5's feel as if they they own certain Black talent. This mentality is why Travis Hunter got so much hate for the audacity to go to an HBCU. If a Black kid goes to an HBCU he's an HBCU talent. Wilkerson is an All MEAC transfer from Delaware State( HBCU) to Jackson State.
I guess you could include Sy'veon Wilkerson, but if I recall right, he transferred to JSU just before transferring to Colorado. The other JSU transfers were a backup kicker, back-up safety, back-up LB, and other guys I can't find on the depth chart.
Based on that, 100% of the guys who Deion was referencing were not HBCU talent but Power 5 talent.
Shedeur & Hunter could have accomplished all Football goals at Jackson State( except Heisman if it's a goal) & don't need Colorado or any other P5 school. Prime knows this , but his desire to get validation from Whites & live among them is too strong. He certainly isn't a racist.

He has literally only played one game
I literally said as of right now. How isn't he backing it up as of now? Colorado was a hot garbage program, and for him to be a top 25 team to me is a big deal. Especially, when Colorado only one one game last year.

Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, UGA, USC, Mizzou, and Tennessee WILL NEVER HIRE A BLACK HEAD COACH. Prove me wrong...
Tennessee hired a black head coach in a major sport. The first to be hired in the SEC. Wade Houston was the HC of their basketball team.
Arkansas had a black basketball coach when they joined the SEC.
Do you have a valid argument?
Mizzou hired two black coaches. The current AD just hired her second black coach to coach the baseball team. The other black coach was last year for basketball. I said Deion Sanders would be a good fit for Mizzou. Because recruiting is still an issue. Drinkwitz might still turned the team around, but I am not believing that due to the quarterback competition wasn't really fair to Horn. If Drinkwitz gets his team to go 6-6 again I am not sure what the situation will be due to a large buyout. Deion is one of the better coaches if no other bigger football programs want to hire him. If the AD finds someone else and he isn't black it is fine, but he probably will have to be a very good recruiter and good coach. It is getting harder to find a good coach that can recruit top talents.

Chill man, its a long season.
We'll see how he handles a little adversity when he doesnt have the best player on the field.
In the meantime he's doing what they hired him to do, put CU back on the map and make them must see tv.
Like him or not, ppl are going to watch just to see him win/lose

My biggest issue with Prime is that he had a bunch of Power 5 talent at an HBCU, then when he moves them to a Power 5 school he acts like he worked a miracle because those “HBCU kids” can compete in Power 5.
As a black man, I feel he is actually hurting the HBCUs in his approach. He brought positive attention when he was there but now he’s blowing up the good he did.
What about any coach that is successful at a lower-level college that jump ship to get to a higher-level college? Deion Sanders is no different. Can't blame him to get better treatment. Did you remember that he got robbed and there were also health issues. He probably saw the writing on the wall to jump ship to get into a better job. You should have known that. There are a few who would stay at HS and/or at HBCU.
By the way one thing about Deion Sanders is what coordinators job have he held? That is a reminder what happened to Ed Orgeron at LSU. But looking at what Sam Pittman is doing so far as a HC at Arkansas. This is one reason why some might have shy away from hiring him. If Colorado do well then, the OC and/or DC leave for a HC gig then Deion would have to hire a replacement. Will he be able to continue to find a good replacement?

The word you're looking for is 'matchups'.

Yeah, and so are a lot of black players, across all sports. Most of them are not as stupid as Neon and keep their mouths shut in public.
