I'm not sure what to think here.
I'm fairly sure the OP is off on DefCon understanding.
But there is an issue with the team and it seems like an effort issue ... which hopefully can be corrected by a players only meeting. ..

Maybe inadvertently it seems accurate. Most of Alabama recent history has been Defcon 5. Defcon 1 would be the program shutting down. So 4 seems right for a players only meeting.
