Mullen didn't go silly, especially there at the end, he stuck to his guns, pretty solid for an offensive mind. The run attack and solid D won out in the end.

I always pull for State when they don't play LSU so I'm very happy for the Bulldogs win. It's always nice to see Florida lose as well.
State will definitely be in a bowl this year. There's no way they lose to UAB next week.
However, it gets tougher after that with UK, Bama, Arky, and then the Oxford Bears. I'm thinking 2-2 in those last four, which would put them at 8-4 overall just as I predicted at the beginning of the season. But I definitely expect them to give each and every one of those teams a fight. They have a legit shot at winning every one of those games.

Enjoy the win. Got to be tough to be a Miss St fan. Your success likely means you lose your coach. Hopefully the contract has a nice enough buyout to get you another good coach.

Yea, I got my 1st degree from Miss.St and I quietly pull for them whenever it doesn't hurt us. I recall being there 98-01 when they were quite good. I hope you find the excitement refreshing.
