I love how people watch a documentary of a guy and assume he would have been the best. If Adrian Peterson would have quit after his freshman year, people would assume he would have been the GOAT. AP didn't quit, and he's not even in the top 10 college RBs of all time.
It's amazing what a 30 for 30 can do for someone.

What makes you say he is not in the top 10? Are you talking about stats?
Stats don't make you the GOAT.

I'm saying I would take 10 other RBs over him. Without looking at pro careers.

I think Bo Jackson is overrated.

Arguably the greatest athlete, ever. If not for a feak injury he would have been HOF in 2 professional sports.

He played one healthy year and had the most rushing yards of any freshman ever. Or at least he was close as I don't know the record books.
Nearly 2000 yards I believe.

Uhhhh... probably the best?
When you've got guys like Hank Aaron, Carl Lewis, Jesse Owens, Satchel Paige, and Joe Louis in the running, it isn't disrespectful to add a disclaimer.
Edited to add: In answer to the original question, Bo all the way. I hated that fricker when he was at Auburn because I knew he was simply too good to be stopped.

Great athletes as well, but when you consider all athletic attributes ( size, speed, arm strength, hand eye coordination, jumping ability, and power) it's hard not to consider Bo the best athlete from the state.

It is also hard not to consider two of the greatest Olympians of all time not the greatest athlete from the state. Track and field no less, not some bullshite event.

I'm not asserting he isn't. In fact, since I never saw those others play I would personally put him first but those others have a valid claim.
