Pretty sure thta is exactly what we heard from LSU last year AND this year. Injuries?

FTR, we were missing 12.

Junior defensive back Eric Stokes
Senior linebacker Monty Rice
Senior Defensive back D.J. Daniel
Senior guard Ben Cleveland
Senior tight end Tre Mckitty
Senior LB Jermaine Johnson

Freshman running back Kendall Milton (knee).
Senior safety Richard LeCounte (undisclosed).
Junior running back James Cook.

Senior center Trey Hill (knees).
Freshman corner back Kelee Ringo (shoulder).
Freshman receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (leg).

For some reason it seemed perfectly fine for them to use missing players due to opt outs and injuries the last 2 seasons, but you think there is no excuse?

That said, I felt Cincinnati had a good, solid team that took us to the wire.

But you are correct. For LSU to scream injuries every year it does seem like it is always, and I mean always, an excuse...it is the way of the world.

If they can't sleaze 2 sec schools into the playoff they will at least make sure to feed the sec school the easiest team.

It's for darn sure the SEC team had an easy path last season. Not sure it would have mattered who Alabama played first, though.

Excuses are for losers..Georgia won that game. No excuse needed.
