Somedays, I wonder what people think when they start posting on here.
Part of me wants to make excuses for him and be like "Oh, he's just drunk" or "Oh, he's just taking it in the arse right now" but I don't think that first one is true.

I'm flattered that you care enough about me to include me as part of your profile. Just don't expect me to ever return the favor.

SECrant- a place where you can discuss SEC sports with opposing fans... And make fun of dumbfricks like rmftbama

No, that wasn't pointed out to me. Nowhere did it say that all UVA grads work in the northeast, and to assume so would be stupid. Those were median salaries for ALL recent UVA grads, whether they worked in New York or Nevada (or anywhere between the two). And even if all UVA grads lived in New England (which, of course, they don't), you don't adjust salaries based on cost of living. If you ask a friend in Boston what he makes, he doesn't say, "Well, I make $150,000, but when you divide that by the cost of living index, I actually make $55,000."
Yes it was pointed out to you. And it is a very valid case.
ANd it is very plain you know nothing about cost of living and how they differ from area to area.
$100,000 (in constant dollars) in N.E. or even the West Coast does not equal $100,000 in the South. Far from it.

He does a good job of that himself.
But, I will give him this...he brought Bama, LSU, and Auburn fans together in common cause.

No, he just says,"I make 155,000 a year but I just paid $9 for a burger and 4.79 for gas."

Part of me wants to think you actually have friends that are Truman Scholars and Yale Law students, but then I realize that you'd probably have to be much more intelligent if you associated with them.

He's stopped replying to me. I'm kinda sad.
I might go to sleep if this fun filled argument doesn't pick up speed here soon. I've got a gig in town tomorrow night (well technically tonight). And I'm getting closer to hitting the road for a couple of weeks, which of course means no sleep since it's a solo tour, and I'm doing all the driving

You earn minimum wage, dolt. You aren't allowed to use compound words.

I am not sure he understands the difference in cost of living. Let's say you make 100,000 grand here in Tuscaloosa. You move to New York City. To maintain your current lifestyle and such you would need to make almost $200,000 in New York City. That is quite a difference.

And part of me thinks that surely there has to be something shoved up your arse if you're this fricking uptight on a message board.

LCT, don't you know singers don't make any money. yOu should put down your guitar and go to law school. That's the only way you will ever be considered successful

Good luck and be safe.

Did he say he makes min. wage? Or did you pull that out of your arse.
However, do you have a problem with people who do make min. wage?

I love how you're desperately clinging to this weak-arse retort. This explanation holds no water at all, and if you had any dignity, you'd admit it.

If I cared about being financially succesful, I'd be fricked.
I'd rather enjoy my one life on Earth doing something I love and getting paid for it than being someone like RMFT who pimps all of his accomplishments just so people will pat him on the back and tell him "good job"
