#4Alabama v #5LSU 2005 OT Showdown
Final Score Bama 13
LSU 16

#16Auburn v #7LSU 2005 OT Missed FG
Final Score Auburn 17
LSU 20

South Carolina v #4Florida 2006 The Cock Block
Final Score SCar 16
UF 17

That's just few of many. In the SEC it's usually either a blowout or a real close game.

Another good one is Alabama vs. Arkansas 2006

#3 Tennessee 6 , #2 Georgia Tech 0. in Atlanta. Tech's only loss that season. Tennessee was 10-1 losing only in the Sugar to Baylor.

#2 Georgia Tech and #3 Tennessee met in Atlanta for a game that proved to determine the SEC title. There were 23 punts altogether, and no score until midway through the third quarter, when Tennessee end Buddy Cruze noticed that Tech had stopped double-teaming him. Quarterback Johnny Majors (who would later be head coach for UT) passed to Cruze at the 35 yard line, and Cruze ran 64 yards down to the Tech goal line, setting up the touchdown that won the game, 6-0 [8]. In the poll that followed, Tennessee was the new #1 by a margin of 2 points (1,446 to 1,444) over Oklahoma.

'85 Iron Bowl

Tiffin gets the glory for the kick, but Greg Richardson getting out of bounds to stop the clock the play before just as big.

Freshman Gene Jelks had a big day that afternoon as well which is also overshadowed by "The Kick"

How is 2008 Ole Miss/Florida on that list? And I'm not saying that because we lost.

It was an absolutely epic upset.

Ole Miss had an 86 yard touchdown pass on 3rd and ten in the fourth quarter, a touchdown that was desperately needed. Ole Miss blocked an extra point and stopped superman on 4th and 1. Play after play of clutch from a team that went 0-8 in the SEC, the previous year, against a team that has won 2 national championships in the last three years.

Florida didn't play an epic game, but that isn't necessary.

I don't think of upsets, epic or otherwise, when I think of epic games. Epic games are about teams duking it out with each other, going back and forth. Turnovers and bad special teams play doesn't count.

And that's not to take anything away from Ole Miss' win, it was a great win for yall and a really good game. I just don't think that game represents an extraordinary SEC game. Just my opinion.

Okay,swap it with either the 1968 Georgia-Florida game,or the 1970 Auburn-Florida game.

Those were great!!! BUT I would have to say the 1980 FLA-UGA game!! Walker was just plain AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 38 carries and I think 166 yds!!!!
