I'm not a DA, and I don't know if you are a DA, but there were no charges brought against him. That tells me the DA didn't think there was enough evidence to get a conviction. If you have something the DA didn't have, please, share. Better yet, share it with them. I'm all for him being punished accordingly, if he did anything. What I'm not for is some girl claiming she was raped and seeing someone ruin a kid's life over that, if it isn't true.
A trial is there to determine innocence or guilt AFTER the DA has determined there is sufficient evidence to move forward with a trial. The fact that you imply a state DA would pick a possible MNC over a young woman's life and his career makes me sick.

Sure:
The DA is a graduate of FSU and a graduate of FSU Law School. His wife graduated from FSU along with his son and his daughter, who also added a law degree from FSU. He is an elected prosecutor from the district that includes FSU and and extremely high percentage of FSU alums. And, my understanding (although I haven't confirmed it) is that he is a long time donor to FSU). I don't know if that had anything to do with his decision, but it sure looks bad.
He should have stayed as far away from this possible - in the interests of justice.

Oh, one final thing, Winston raped Auburn in the second half.

Oh well. Yay FSU!

You do know this very same DA.....CHARGED many FSU players in the past. If he had something on Winston he definitely would have charged him.
Idk...maybe the girl shouldnt have told 3 different stories? Maybe she shouldnt have gotten dropped off on a "scooter ....while being fall out drunk" by her "rapist"? Maybe her friends should have backed up her claims about not having any understanding?
Or maybe there is a great deal of BS in her story.
Let it go.

Congratulations FSU it was a great game. Obviously you'd like to win but I'm still very proud of Auburn and the turnaround they had this season— War Eagle!

First, all of what Rittdog said. Additionally, there were several other things that didn't add up with what we know happened.
I'll add that I love The Ohio State University and our Buckeyes, but I'm not about to risk my career or my freedom to cover up for some scumbag kid. If I had any reason to charge someone, they'd be charged. Not to mention the fact that he has went after football players in the past.

Doesn't matter what he has done in the past. It doesn't matter if there was no malfeasance on his part. I'm not talking about the legal decision, I'm talking about the PR effect of who is making the decision. Different animals. But one people in the public eye must be aware of.

You're right, the only thing that does matter is he didn't feel there was enough evidence to even bring charges against him. Everything else is just fluff because it's Winston.

How so? You mean with the BS unsportsmanlike penalty, the missed horse collar, or not calling holding on EITHER team? That must have been it.
Great football game, and can't wait for next season.
It's funny that they called a drive-killing holding call on Auburn after a huge third down conversion, and on the very next drive miss multiple holding calls on FSU that were far more blatant. Literally the very next series I saw an FSU OLinement wrapped his arm around a DE's head as he was being beaten.

I saw plenty of holding by both offenses. Holding is the best penalty in football. It gives fans the most to bitch about after they lose a game.
