Both adapted to the game also, that’s why all of the titles. How many coaches win one but don’t keep at it? Both were/are very hard workers.

Even if this were true (I seriously doubt it), it's not like Bryant allowed his teams to play creampuffs. In the 1970s, especially, he frequently scheduled top tier out of conference teams in the regular season.
In 1978, for instance, he scheduled the following OOC teams:
Nebraska
Missouri
Southern California
Washington
Virginia Tech
When was the last time any SEC team played an OOC schedule like that?
