I already conceded that the 5-5 in our last 10 was super troubling. Tide fans are losing our minds over an opening loss where we looked soft losing to a mid team. I get that everyone wants to get their licks in. The reality is that this can go in a few different ways.
Maybe the team puts it together and goes 10-2. Seems doubtful. Maybe it’s a mid season and we end up 8-4. Seems most likely as the talent level is still pretty good. Worst case scenario is the wheels fall off and 5-7 or 6-6 occurs, followed by a bargain bin coaching search after a crazy buyout near bankrupts the program. The possibility is out there.
