Yall have won 5 times in Auburn since 1974....

Kind of an odd starting point. LSU played at Auburn in 1903 and 1908 (split). and not again until 1970 (LSU) and again in 1973 (LSU). They didn’t play at Auburn again until 1981 (Auburn), then again in 1989 (Auburn). The didn’t play home and home every year until 1992. Since 1992 LSU has won 5 at Auburn (1996, 1998, 2008, 2012, and 2018). Of twenty games from 1901 to 2019 played in Auburn, LSU has won 8. Of twenty-four games played in Baton Rouge, Auburn has won 5. There of course have been other venues, Mobile, Birmingham and Montgomery in the early days of the series. The last time the game was not played in Baton Rouge or Auburn was 1942 (Birmingham).

Clearly the home team has had an advantage over the years, with LSU have a slightly better record as the away team. It has been a great and competitive series, and is always intriguing as one never knows what will happen on or off the field.

Yes, it's interesting that Auburn and LSU have so little history as rivals. Huge time gaps in-between games.

Maybe. But we should thank Auburn for beating Miles in his last game as LSU's coach (at Auburn). If we had a few more seconds on the clock, Gus would have gotten the boot instead. That game had loser gets fired written all over it.

Guess we will enter another decade of them not winning in Baton Rouge.

You obviously didn't watch that game last season. As that game wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated other than Auburn getting some very lucky breaks.

It's like the first game many of them have ever watched.
