You should make that trip if you can. Fly into Chicago and catch a Cubs game and some great food. Make sure to spend a full day roaming the campus, it's unique and beautiful. The church and the buildings make you feel like you are in Europe. Grotto is very cool. They are super friendly as well and have people that are standing around giving you guidance on how to get around.

The stadium itself is ok. It's nice but not an overly impressive environment. No advertising anywhere which is kind of cool.

It's definitely a check box for any college football fan, very different environment from the SEC but really interesting.
