There seems to be a noticeable correlation between arrests and wins

So where's the R-Squared? p-Value?

Haha I did take stat a few years back. I think the sample size has to be at least 30 though to assume a normal distribution?

Exactly why I'm of the IDGAF what rules we have to break or how much $$ we have to pay to win @ this point.

Finding that sweet spot between number of arrest and APR score is a bitch though.

believe this is correct. Although maybe you could use it if you could assume that win totals for sec teams have been normally distributed in the past

Put the numbers into a stat calculator site on my phone and got p-value: .00019 and r-square: .70053

But you're probably right due to the sample size it may be worthless

If someone had arrest data for multiple seasons maybe you could run a better test?

Although this end up violating probabilistic independence criteria anyway since many of the wins necessitate corresponding losses by another team. Been too long since I've take a stat class, really can't remember what all you need to be able to run a t-test etc.

True.

And as long as Tanner is our AD, we will continue to be squeaky clean.

I mean, I am proud of that but at the same time..a little thuggery is a'ight if we're winning. Do what ya gotta do.

To be fair, we had several players that could have been arrested for impersonating football players. Also, unless we are counting moral victories as well, we didn't win 5 games.
