When they stopped sleep walking they looked pretty good. I still think our ends need to do a better job in containment though.

What does beating up on these cupcakes prove?
we are in for a rude awakening when we have to line up against Bama on Oct 1, 2011. I think we need one semi test before we enter league play. Of course Petrino knows this but hedged a better bowl game by scheduling these cupcakes and splitting the Bama/ LSU games.

Serious question, what would you do with the schedule? We aren't going to schedule more than one BCS opponent and the A&M game is locked on the schedule. The Alabama game is locked in as our first conference game of the season and it isn't moving from that week either. What would you prefer we do with the schedule?

Play a Boise State which we own over the 2 or 3 times we have played them. Something to gain some attention like Bama and Penn State. They have done it before with Hootie except it did not work out to well for us, remember USC? I think we are just setting up for failure by playing all these cupcakes and then losing to Bama 31-27 or something similar.

Our Penn State is Texas A&M though so we do have that attention grabber but it is locked in to the schedule. Not much you can do about that one. That game really hampers our scheduling. We couldn't do that USC deal again because of it. Personally, I would have rather seen it been a week 1 type set up than thrown in to the middle of the SEC slate. As it is now, because you have Bama so early every single year you can do nothing but schedule cupcakes before them.

I screw up when I post on my phone. Yes our schedule is frustrating though, between the A&M game and the two little rock games we have no flexibility to schedule how we want. Although I do think we could find better cupcakes.

The funny thing is Bobby Petrino has really not had to show much up to this point. New Mexico was physical pumped and ready to play. Several of our players are hurting already. I think Bama will see the real Arkansas and it will be nothing like what we or everyone seen up to this point. The first time Wilson takes off running against Bama they are gonna kill him, tear off his head and hang it on their wall as a trophy.

3 drops the three times he was targeted. He did not seem to be in to the game at all.
