Being an agent has to be the easiest job on earth.

Sexton makes a ton of money, but damn I bet he doesn't have much of a life. Dude is probably constantly on the phone wheelin' and dealin'.

He truly is the best in the business. I would hate trying to negotiate with him.
Looks like he has about 75 clients and manages over 1 billion in contracts (Forbes Article on Sexton), but he is not in the top 20 in the business. JayZ is #4 overall. Thought that surprising.

The article I linked said avg agent pay is about 89k per year.
The contract/sponsor negotiations, ego stroking, and constant publicity management would be a pain in the arse to me. I'm sure some would enjoy it, and there is obviously a good living in it. But, has to be a pain in the arse job.

quote:I'm almost certain he's well beyond that now.
If his stable gets big enough, those percentages will add up to a single coach's mega-salary.
Put it this way - if he only got 5% of Gustav's first buyout check of $10 million, that's a $500k payday before Uncle Sam gets his percentage. Boom got a lump sum of $13 mill from SC, so that's another $650k to Sexton.
And that's in just one year from 2 of his dozens of high dollar clients (which number among them the 2 highest paid HCs in the land, Saban and Jimbo).
No wonder he always looks so jolly.
